KNOW THE GOSPEL MORE THAN ANYTHING ELSE

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth… (Romans 1:16).

 As a Christian, if there’s anything you must know in this world, it’s the Gospel of Jesus Christ. There’s no knowledge more important, more transformative, or more eternal than the Gospel. It’s the message of life, the revelation of God’s righteousness, and the unveiling of His salvation for all mankind.

 The Gospel of Jesus Christ is much more than information to be memorised or doctrines to be explained. The Gospel is life. It’s the Word of God concerning Jesus Christ—who He is, and His mission— what He came to do. If your life is inconsistent with the provisions of Christ in His Gospel, then you haven’t really understood the Gospel.

 True understanding of the Gospel will cause you to live in and experience the full blessings thereof. The more you understand the Gospel, the more you become its manifestation. Your life will express Christ naturally and effortlessly. Your words, your thoughts, your responses, and your conduct will be aligned with the message of Christ because the Gospel has been inculcated into your spirit and into your consciousness

. It’s like what the Apostle Paul said in 2 Corinthians 3:2, “Ye are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men.” Your life becomes a living letter; men will read Christ through you. They’ll see the reality of the Gospel in your character, in your love, in your faith, and in the excellence of your walk with God.

This is the result of giving yourself wholly to the Gospel; every fibre of your being becomes synchronized with its message and you speak out of that abundance. So, know the Gospel more than anything else in life, for it’s the power of God unto salvation (Romans 1:16).

Dear Father, thank you for granting me understanding of the Gospel to experience its transformative power in my life. My whole being is inundated with the truths of the Gospel, and my life is the living expression of Christ. My words, thoughts and actions are in sync with your divine will, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
